“Easy Development Studio”, seems like development of ROMs is getting easier and easier

Today I came across a new article in XDA Developers where one of their members developed a new tool which is very helpful for beginners to develop their own ROMs.  For now the tool is available on Linux only and the details of the features and how to install can be found here.

I will try to check it out myself and then share some screenshots and details about it. Please do try it out and you can also give suggestions and request features by posting it in their forum.

Re-legalize jailbreaking and rooting your devices

Seems like once again we all have to stand up for what is users and buyers right to do what ever they want with their device. The exemption added to the DMCA by the US Copyright office in 2010 which fully legalized rooting, jailbreaking, unlocking and whatever else you do with your smartphone. This exemption will last for 3 years therefore must be renewed before expiring. Please do sign the petition to renew the exemtion. Cheers.
